Ameib has a camping site close to the guesthouse, also known as the Nature camp. It is fenced off against wild animals and big trees offer shade. There are numerous sites available, each with a concrete base for tents and barbeque facility. Some sites also have picnic areas.

There is also a swimming pool with bio filter directly at the camping site, as well as hot showers and toilets in the recently renovated ablution block. In the ablution block you will also find dish washing sinks and a power point. Another Power point for all campers is found in the centre of the Nature camp.

Bundles of wood can be bought at the reception. Ameib has NO camping gear available for renting.

The new Leadwood Campsites - two exclusive campsites situated near the guesthouse. These campsites offer camping between gigantic rock boulders underneath big Ana and Acacia Trees with private showers and toilets for up to 8 people. The Campsites is 3 km from Ameib Guesthouse & Camping and only accessible with a 4x4 (no trailers or caravans).

Ameib Guesthouse & Camping is open daily from 08:00-18:00.

A levy for the Erongo Mountain Nature Sanctuary of N$ 10.00 for camping and N$ 20.00 for room/cabin per night will be charged and is payable in cash. (2025)
